Emily S. Hilligoss
Operations Officer / Executive Assistant
Emily joined The Downey Group in October 1999 as a Benefit Plan Administrator and the Executive Assistant to David J. Downey, President, and Jane A. Hays. In her role as Benefit Plan Administrator, Emily provided administrative and client service support, ranging from initial enrollments to policy service, participant record keeping, and database management in connection with individual clients, and large multi-life partnership and executive life insurance plans.
In May of 2022, Emily transitioned to Operations Officer. As Operations Officer, her areas of responsibility include day-to-day operations, corporate financials, human resources, licensing and contracting, commissions, training and supervision of support staff, and systems.
With two sons in high school Emily and her husband Kevin are busy cheering them on at their basketball and baseball games.
